Our team had a virtual meeting with the client to discuss the specifics of the event and what the client was expecting from the event.
Brainstorming Ideas
After being clear on the client requirements, the creative team along with the interns brainstormed ideas that can be used to promote the event. Our main focus was to increase the footfall at the event while increasing brand awareness.
Content Plan and Creatives Creation
- The mnemonic was created to be used for all event-related social media posts to maintain cohesiveness.
- After the mnemonic was approved, content and creatives were created for introduction posts, university promotion posts, event highlights post and event reminders.
- A countdown was posted on social media pages to maintain the hype of the event.
- We also created a quiz which was posted a few days before the event where the winners can win prizes and have to come to the event to claim the prize.
Social Media Ads
The event was promoted as an advertisement on Facebook and Instagram with the objectives of:
- Reaching new audience segment
- Increasing participation in the event
